Yousuf Hamza

KT Brooklyn

Yousuf Hamza is a SAT Instructor at KT Brooklyn. Hamza has been part of the KT team since November 2017 when he first started teaching in the HSAP department. He scored in the 98th percentile on the SAT. After completing his studies at Stuyvesant High School, he has begun studying pharmacology at LIU.


Abid Siam

KT Brooklyn

Abid Siam is currently a SAT Instructor at KT Brooklyn. Abid has been part of the KT team since 2011, when he was a student in KT's SHSAT program. He is a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School, where he scored in the 96th percentile on the SAT and graduated with honors in every course. He currently studies computer science at NYU. Abid likes to put his learning into practice by participating in several hackathons, where hackers compete and develop coding projects from scratch. In his free time, Abid likes to play basketball and watch The Office.


Sakif Chowdhury

KT Astoria

Sakif Chowdhury is a SAT instructor at KT Astoria. On the SAT, he scored in the 99th percentile. A proud graduate of Stuyvesant High School, he currently studies financial mathematics at Baruch College. In his spare time, he loves following basketball and trying new foods.


Mahzabin Alam

KT Floral Park

Mahzabin Alam is a SAT Instructor at KT Floral Park. She has been part of Khan's Tutorial since 2016, initially teaching in the Common Core department and moving her way up. She scored in the 97th percentile on her SAT. Mahzabin is currently pursuing double majors in biochemistry and sociology with a minor in chemistry at Stony Brook University. A recipient of the Presidential Scholarship, Mahzabin is also involved on her campus as an Undergraduate College Fellow where she mentors first-year students. In her free time, Mahzabin likes to find new things to do in the city, to read, and to try new foods.


Afroza Ahmed

KT Jamaica

Afroza Ahmed has been a SAT instructor at KT Jamaica since June 2017. She scored in the 98th percentile when she first took her SATs as a sophomore and achieved high scores on several SAT Subject Tests, including Chemistry and Math Level II. A proud graduate of Bronx Science, Afroza currently studies neurobiology and studio art at Macaulay Honors at Hunter College. You can often find her exploring the city for Instagram-worthy material and making 20-page study guides for her difficult premed courses.


Rajiv Ramroop

KT Floral Park

Rajiv Ramroop is a SAT instructor at KT Floral Park. He joined the KT team in 2017 when he first started as an HSAP instructor. He achieved 97th percentile when he sat for the SAT, in addition to the high scores he had received on several of his SAT Subject Tests. After completing his studies at the Bronx High School of Science, he intends to attend the University of Michigan as an aspiring premed student. In his free time he loves playing basketball and cruising around NYC, looking for his next bite.


Ishan Wankavala

KT Sutphin

Ishan Wankavala is a SAT Instructor at KT Sutphin. He has been an avid member of the KT team since 2016, when he started as an intern and worked his way up to a Regents Instructor and eventually a SAT Instructor. Having scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT, he graduated from The Bronx High School of Science with a 4.0 GPA and currently attends Stony Brook University, where he is pursuing a degree in computer science and business. He spends his free time drawing, painting, and playing the guitar.


Sinekdha (Sinnie) Sarkar

KT Sutphin

Sinekdha (Sinnie) Sarkar is a SAT Instructor at KT Sutphin. She has been part of the KT team since 2018 when she first started teaching in the HSAP department. Sinnie scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT. A proud graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, she is currently studying neuroscience at New York University. In her free time, she enjoys watching classic Hollywood movies and spending time with her family.


Ryan Biswas

KT Richmond Hill

Ryan Biswas is a SAT Instructor at KT Richmond Hill. He has been part of the KT team since 2017 when he first started teaching in the Common Core department before moving his way up to the HSAP department. Ryan scored in the 95th percentile on the SAT as well as scoring high in several AP exams, including AP Calculus AB and AP Biology. Having graduated from The Bronx High School of Science, he is currently pursuing a degree in Finance at Baruch College. In his free time, he enjoys attending musical events and meeting new people.


Jaspreet Parhar

KT Jackson Heights

Jaspreet Parhar is a SAT instructor at KT Jackson Heights. He has been with KT since 2014. Jaspreet graduated from Bronx Science, where he scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT. He attended Macaulay Honors at Brooklyn College, where he studied mathematics, and is currently applying for medical school. Outside of school, Jaspreet enjoys playing the saxophone and participating in sports.


Anusua Nath

KT Jackson Heights

Anusua Nath is a SAT Instructor at KT Jackson Heights. Anusua scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT and achieved high scores on several SAT Subject Tests, including Math Level II and Physics. She is a senior at Stuyvesant High School and proudly holds a 4.0 GPA, with the dream of studying civil engineering in the near future. In her free time, she enjoys attending her Indian Classical Dance class as well as reading and watching YouTube videos.


Tashfiq Haider

KT Ozone Park

Tashfiq Haider is a SAT Instructor at KT Ozone Park. He scored in the 98th percentile on the SAT and 99th percentile on the ACT, as well as securing perfect scores on numerous SAT Subject Tests. He is a proud graduate of Stuyvesant High School and currently studies biomedical engineering at Hofstra University, where he is the recipient of the full Presidential Scholarship. In his spare time, Tashfiq loves playing cricket and going on long walks with his friends.


Hamida Chumpa

KT Castle Hill

Hamida Chumpa is a SAT Instructor at KT Castle Hill. She has been a part of the KT team since 2017. Hamida scored in the 97th percentile on the SAT and currently attends Macaulay Honors at Baruch College. Hamida is a proud graduate of the High School for Math, Science, and Engineering at City College. Hamida plans to pursue a career in the medical field. She has co-authored in a science publication in the official Urologic Oncology Journal and is currently working on more publications. In her free time, Hamida likes to paint and write.


Rifat Khan

KT Castle Hill

Rifat Khan is a SAT Instructor at KT Castle Hill. He has been part of the KT team since 2017 when he began teaching in the HSAP department. Rifat scored a 99th percentile on his SAT and secured high scores on several SAT Subject Tests. He is a proud graduate of the The Bronx High School of Science, and is currently studying mathematics and finance at Baruch College. In his free time, he likes to make music and learn photography.


Nazia Begum

KT Parkchester

Nazia Begum is a SAT instructor at KT Parkchester. She has been part of the KT team since 2017. Nazia scored in the 97th percentile on the SAT exam. She graduated from the Bronx High School of Science in 2017. Currently, Nazia studies biochemistry in Macaulay Honors at Hunter College. In her free time, Nazia likes to take care of her baby sister and draw portraits of friends.


Tanvir Chowdhury

KT Sunnyside

Tanvir Chowdhury was our SAT student at KT. He took the exam in the 10th grade and scored 1560. Receiving college acceptances from prestigious schools including Johns Hopkins and NYU Stern, he is currently studying biophysics at Columbia University with the dream of becoming a surgeon. He is now the official SAT Instructor at KT Sunnyside.
